The Solution
DCBank provided the customer with its Interac e-Transfer platform. Available securely online or through API integration, the customer has the option of sending money real-time to anyone with an email address and a bank account in Canada. The loan is deposited as soon as the recipient accepts the Interac e-Transfer transaction and deposits the funds to the recipients financial institution of choice.

DCBank’s customer is a leading tax preparation firm in Canada. With more than 600 offices across the country, the customer needed to find a solution for its customers to receive their cash back tax returns quickly and efficiently, while reducing the reliance on writing cheques and the need for their clients to visit expensive cheque cashing businesses to get access to their funds.
The Solution
To give the customer’s tax preparation clients more flexibility, DCBank integrated its prepaid card platform with the customer’s cash back tax return program. When a cash back tax return is approved, the customer has the option of loading a card directly with their tax refund through the clients software. The card can be used immediately for purchases or cash withdrawal, allowing the customer’s tax preparation client easy access to their funds.

Customer Objective
DCBank’s customer owns and manages commercial real estate in Canada. The customer needed a convenient and affordable method of collecting rent on a regular basis.
The Solution
DCBank provided the customer with its Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) platform. Available securely online, the customer can manage its rent collection by automatically withdrawing funds from the renter’s bank account of choice. The rent is collected on the scheduled transaction date and deposited directly to the customer’s DCBank account.
Benefits
DCBank’s EFT program gives its customer the ability to easily collect rent from its clients cost effectively. EFT allows DCBank’s customer to reduce the costly administration of collection of rent by cash or cheque. DCBank’s EFT platform is flexible, with deposit and withdrawal options and the ability for its customers to process transactions up to four times per business day. DCBank’s solution is a complete reporting tool on deposits and returns, enabling clients to easily manage funds collected daily.


Direct Deposit Account & Interac E-Transfer Case Study

Customer Objective
A customer of DCBank is in the business of financing daily payments for a large international ride-sharing business. This customer required the ability to provide on-demand payments to drivers 24 hours per day regardless of the day of the week or banking holidays.
The Solution
DCBank provided its customer with its Interac e-Transfer platform through API integration, which allows its customer to send multiple payments at a time to the earners for deposit to the recipients financial institution of choice as soon as they accept the Interac e-Transfer. DCBank also provided its customer with a customized direct deposit account (DDA) solution that allowed the customer to assign funds earned among individual DDAs with easy reconciliation and deposit to the earner.
