Digital Commerce Bank Glencoe Invitational

DCBank is a proud sponsor of the Glencoe Invitational tournament for the last three years. The 27th Digital Commerce Bank Glencoe Invitational is coming to Calgary June 2023! In partnership with Golf Canada, this prestigious event is not to be missed!

About the Tournament

The Digital Commerce Bank Glencoe Invitational will have its 27th event in June 2023 at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club. With the addition of the Women’s Division in 2021, this is the only event that combines men and women on the same course, at the same time, in the world. The tournament is listed on the Golf Canada (formerly the RCGA) Order of Merit as well as the World Amateur Golf Order of Merit. In 2023, Golf Canada and The Glencoe Golf & Country Club announced a partnership that will support enhancements to the prestigious Digital Commerce Bank Glencoe Invitational, including a week-long women’s golf festival during the week of the championship.

Previous NOTABLE champions include Graham Delaet (2005), McKenzie Hughes (2011), and Jared du Toit (2016). Other notables that have played in the event include Corey Connors, Taylor Pendrith, Austin Connelly, Adam Swenson, David Hearn, Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor. To date, 65 former participants are now playing on various professional tours around the globe.

Men & Women. On the Same Course. At the Same Time.

This is a truly unparalleled event with a unique format for men and women. The men and women will play on The Forest course at the same time in alternating groups for 54 holes. This event is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion by creating an integrated platform for both women and men, enabling both to pursue their dreams.

Celebrating Women in Golf.

In 2021, the Digital Commerce Bank Glencoe Invitational expanded the field of players and welcomed women to compete, with both amateur and professional divisions. The women’s professional division was added to ensure the highest quality field of competition and fill a void in women’s golf for young pros and elite amateurs who need more premier events.

It is a goal of the Glencoe Invitational to grow the game, the event and promote women’s initiatives. We want to encourage and inspire more women to participate in golf, from beginner all the way up to the elite player.
